Hand Building

Though artists are welcome to work on hand building whenever they are in the studio (signed up for either beginner or experienced classes), we offer a variety of hand building workshops for anyone who wants direct instruction or simply wants to try something new. Please check the homepage for postings.

Please understand that we are not a studio that is set up for production work and producing that quantity of work is not permitted. We do our very best to get everything fired in a timely manner, however, we must ensure that pieces are fully dry prior to being bisque fired. There are many factors that come into play but ensuring that pieces are fully dry reduces the potential for items breaking in the kiln. For items that require increased time (often pieces created by our young artists), we will contact you when your pieces are ready to go. Please allow 4 - 6 weeks; we promise we will not forget about you and we thank you for your patience!
