
Summer Camps at ClayHouse
Our summer camps are set up for 2, 4-hour sessions that are held on the same day of the week across 2 weeks. Though clay will be their main art form throughout camp, mixed materials are included as time allows!
Classes are held from 8:30 -12:30 - cash or check

June 17 & 24 - $140pp
Fairy Doors and Mushrooms
Wednesday kids camp entering the mythical woodlands. Artists will design and create a fairy or gnome door to the entrance of a tree or hill and make some cute little mushroom additions for the fairy garden or the house plants!
June 22 & 29 - $140pp
Bird Houses
Artists will learn to make a hand built bird house with a bottom base for bird feed. Each house will need a hanger that the kids will make as well.

July 15 & 22 - $140pp
Googly Face Vase
Build a beautiful vase and learn to sculpt a funny googly face. Much of the time will be spent learning to sculpt faces while the second day will then be spent glazing.
July 20 & 27 - $140pp
Chip and Dip Platters
Your child will hand build a chip and dip platter from a slab of clay. Once they have decided on their shapes, they will work on decorating the plate with designs and divisions as desired.


August 3 & 10 - $140pp
Bud Vase Set
Join us for this camp where we will be making a set of 3 bud vases. We will explore building from slab, pinching, and coiling to create different shapes. Each vase will be designed and decorated by the artist.
August 5 & 12 - $140pp
Luminaries
Kids will learn to create a luminary from a slab of clay. Luminaries will be sized large enough to add in a battery powered tea light to the inside. Everyone will design and carve their luminaries with negative space to let the light shine through!
